Truth doesn’t matter anymore, or does it?

This is an opinion blog [IN CONSTRUCTION], we admit it. Designed for what the Elite (of both the Left and Right) consider the unwashed, uninformed, unwise masses. The Rabble, as they see it, who should willingly defer to their enlightened leadership and declarations of reality and Truth. Prime examples of this Elite? Hillary Clinton and Dick Cheney (the latest version). And the entire editorial board of the New York Times and almost all of America’s “legacy” media.

So, what does “opinion” have to do with Truth? We believe there are certain “truths” that are based on objective facts, which result in informed opinion. For example, the Earth circles the sun. Or, release an object near a greater mass and that object will “fall” toward that greater mass (we fully allow that Einstein correctly defined and explained the effect Newton observed and predicted). Or, that Stalin and Hitler and Nero were evil. Or the politically incorrect objective fact that there are two genders.

Our prime example of informed opinion? Walter Cronkite. Unfortunately for modern America, deceased. Look him up.

We will always seek and utilize objective facts in this blog (with footnotes in most cases), and when there is dispute, we will freely acknowledge that conflict and try to objectively present the opposite interpretation of those objective facts.

Perhaps another way to put it is that this blog will always try and provide Common Sense views on what should be universally acknowledged Truths, based on indisputable objective facts. And, if we’re wrong, we’ll even state that. Because Truth, based on objective facts, does matter.
